Glorious Autumn!

Ariel has never seen fall foliage.  She absolutely loved the drive through Sardine Canyon last Wednesday on her way to be with our children.  This was the first time we were able to take her up Logan Canyon.  We took some sandwiches and jackets, and went for a drive.
Ariel is an animal lover like our Ava.  She enjoyed feeding the ducks just as much as Ava did.  She quickly made some feathered friends at our stop at first dam.  Yes, Amari is still dressed as a princess.  Mark is weak today.  He is actually a little worse today, but insisted we get out and see the leaves.  We all loved it!
We drove up near camp Lomia and walked around taking pictures and enjoying our picnic.  Logan canyon is so gorgeous.  Everywhere you look, the ragged cliffs, the blend of fall color, the river swirling around the big rocks, and the blanket of leaves on the ground.  Ah........
Amari making leaf angels.

Ariel, me and Mark sitting beside the river talking about life.  Nature is a healing place.  This was much needed and much appreciated.
If you haven't seen the leaves yet, you'd better get out there.  Autumn is magical in Cache Valley!!!
